а 15 април тази година емблематичната за Париж катедрала "Нотр Дам " бе обхваната от най-големия пожар, който историята й помни.
Огнената буря продължи към 15 часа, а светът гледаше с смут. Кулата на катедралата се срути, носещата структура беше обхваната от пламъци.
Голяма част от покрива също беше опустошен, като единствено една-трета от него се резервира.
В последващите дни френският президент Еманюел Макрон увери обществото, че катедралата може да бъде възобновена и бързо започва самодейност за набиране на средства за подкрепяне на възобновяване, като не е ясно какъв брой години ще отнеме.
От 22 април 2019 година до момента събраните средства са над 1 милиард евро.
Какво остана след пожара в Нотр Дам
На 17 април Франция заяви, че провежда интернационален конкурс за архитекти за възобновяване на кулата на катедралата. Френският министър-председател Едуард Филип съобщи, че "правителството търси нов образ, приспособен към техниките и провокациите на нашата ера “.
Това подтикна редица архитекти и дизайнери да развихрят креативния си усет. От модерни стъклени кули до готически стъклописи, претендентите до момента оферират ново преосмисляне на класическото.

NOTRE DAME - Proposal Une proposition de @summumarchi, donner l’accès aux combles de notre dame pour en faire un parc commémoratif, aux couleurs pourpres en mémoire de l’incendie, tout en profitant de cet énorme élan de générosité à travers les dons pour en faire un sanctuaire pour les animaux et insectes toujours plus menacés dans les villes. Que cette reconstruction serve l’environnement, et démontre au reste du monde le savoir faire de nos compagnons français à travers une architecture magnifiée, technique, intemporelle, au plus haut niveau de ce que l’on sait faire.
