Trifonov: Marriage of convenience between GERB and “We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria”, says Delyan Peevski

“Today, the existence of a triple governing coalition in Bulgaria – GERB-SDS, “We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria ” and Movement for Rights and Freedoms – was confirmed today, without appeal. ”

This is what the leader of “There is such a people ” Slavi Trifonov wrote on Фейсбук. We attach his entire post without editorial intervention:

“Today, the existence of a triple governing coalition in Bulgaria – GERB-SDS, “We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria ” and Movement for Rights and Freedoms – was confirmed today, without appeal. These three political entities have a ruling government elected by their votes, and today elected chairmen and deputy chairmen of parliamentary committees.

The polyglot man, the „ Congratulations “ man, the man who most resembles Bai Gagno in the entire political history of Bulgaria, this man is … his name is … Boyko Borisov. This man heads the Foreign Policy Committee. It’s so logical and so embarrassing, but it’s a fact. And he was elected with the votes of Harvard alumni, his previous opponents and current partners, the white collars of corruption – We continue the change and Democratic Bulgaria.

The deal is so clear. The friend of truth, the man with dual citizenship, our pride in front of our European partners, and he is… his name is… Kiril Petkov. He was elected chairman of the Commission on European Union Affairs. This is how things happen: a marriage of convenience, young people love each other, even though one of the young people is old, Delyan Peevski says, Europe rejoices and dances. And I will never cease to be amazed at the double standard that surrounds us.

Let’s imagine that when we won the elections and formed a government together with GERB-SDS, supported by Movement for Rights and Freedoms, what would have happened? What was going to be poured out on me? What would the media talk about from morning to night? How would the leading journalists behave and what would the sites write?

That’s right. That’s the way things are. But everyone has the right to choose how to behave and how to live. After all, we live in a democratic system and the people have the final say – the greatest judge. The people, the sovereign – he decides. And if people like grooms and groomsmen and this marriage of convenience, we’re going to see an interesting family life together. And if people decide otherwise, divorce is inevitable. Only one thing I did not understand – which of the newlyweds is the bride? ”
