This is what MP from „ We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria “ Nastimir Ananiev wrote on Фейсбук regarding the criticism of Korneliya Ninova that the union protected Boyko Borissov today. We publish his full comment without editorial interference:
„ Insinuations and misleading are a favorite recipe of the „ screenwriters “ of the conquered country!
Today, we rejected a request to remove Borissov’s immunity!
First, there was a vote today to include an item in the agenda for the week, not to remove immunity!
Second, heavy populism is chasing „ Vazrazhdane “, “There is Such a People ” /TISP/ and BSP on the subject, and the decision is in their hands!
Here are the facts:
„ We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria “ proposed a committee on immunities to consider the several requested immunities. Meanwhile, Kiril Petkov removed his immunity himself. We called on all MPs with a request for removal, just to give themselves immunity.
We proposed that the committee be on a parity basis and „ Vazrazhdane “ should head it. It is very much up to the chairman to call the meetings, set the agenda, shape and sign the final report before it goes to plenary for a vote.
The BSP and TISP refused to propose members to the commission, thereby blaspheming the quorum and decision-making!
The BSP are experienced and in order not to look bad, they make a proposal to bypass the committee instead of electing members of the committee and heading it, since „ Vazrazhdane “ are afraid of Borissov’s immunity.
And the ITNs are twaddling and misleading many people that someone’s immunity was voted today – ask them why they don’t give the committee members and why they don’t head it? I think the reason is clear to everyone!
