The Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (СЕWR) will hold an open meeting today to discuss a report in connection with an application by " Bulgargas " to approve the price of natural gas for January 2023. The meeting will be held today at 10:00 a.m. in the building of EWRC, it is clear from the regulator`s program. The public supplier proposed for approval for the next month a price at which to sell natural gas to final suppliers and to persons who have been issued a license for the production and transmission of thermal energy, in the amount of BGN 204.53 per megawatt hour (MWh), without access, transfer, excise and VAT prices. BTA reminds that EWRC confirmed the price of natural gas for December of BGN 146.09/MWh, excluding prices for access, transmission, excise duty and VAT. This means that, if approved by EWRC, the increase in the price of blue fuel from January 1 will be 39.73 percent.
