Rumen Radev’s thesis about the „ war parties “ is absurd because it assumes that all the low union member countries supporting Ukraine are all the war countries. This was stated by the last full-time Minister of Justice, Nadezhda Yordanova . According to her, the president’s position is practically a call to Kiev to capitulate to Russia and stop fighting for its land. She explains the tension in the presidential institution with the growing Russian influence there.

“ Behind the theses, actions and manifestations of the president, an increasingly strong defense of Russian interests can be seen. I cannot agree that his position protects the interests of Bulgaria ” , said Yordanova.

According to the former minister, the newly formed alliance between „ Democratic Bulgaria “ and „ We Continue the Change “ comes with the request to take over the management of the country and do everything necessary for its acceptance into the Eurozone. She added that a regular government of the two parties would differ substantially from a caretaker cabinet .

Yordanova defined the BSP’s support for the „ Vazrazhdane “ referendum against the euro as unacceptable and is increasingly bringing Ninova’s socialists closer to Kostadin Kostadinov’s party.

“ It is absurd for them to claim that they support Bulgaria’s entry into the Eurozone, given that the referendum would postpone this until 2043. Do we want Bulgaria to refuse to fulfill its commitments? We cannot wait another 20 years ” , said Yordanova.
