" LUKOIL Bulgaria " EOOD and " LUKOIL Neftohim Burgas " AD state that they intend to appeal to the competent court the decision of the Commission for Protection of Competition to impose a pecuniary sanction. LUKOIL considers the decision of the Commission for the Protection of Competition to be groundless, unproven and contrary to European practice. The company strictly complies with the legislation of the Republic of Bulgaria and the European Union and expects this to be unequivocally confirmed in the course of the court proceedings, says LUKOIL`s announcement. Earlier it became clear that the CPC imposed a fine of BGN 195 million on the company on the grounds of abuse of a dominant position on the market for the storage of automotive fuels.
