The Council of Ministers adopted a Decree amending the Tariff for the fees that are collected for crossing and using the republican road network, which was adopted with PMS No. 370 of 2019. The adopted changes postpone the planned increase in the amount of toll fees from January 1, 2023 year and it is proposed that they be promoted at a later stage - from 1.07.2023. This was announced today by the Council of Ministers. The proposal for the reduction of vignette fees remains unchanged, and from January 1, 2023, they will be about 10 percent lower than the current fees. The purpose of delaying the toll increases is to help ease some of the burden on businesses amid high inflation, as well as give companies more time to adjust to rising costs. This could help support the overall economy and promote stability during the difficult economic situation.
