Светът на футбола скърби за собственика на „Лестър”
Футболният свят скърби поради починалия притежател на „ Лестър” Вичай Шривадханапрабха. Тайландският предприемач е измежду починалите в злополуката с хеликоптера му покрай стадион „ Кинг Пауър”, оповестиха от клуба.
В събота вечерта летателният уред излетя от терена след дуела с „ Уест Хем” (1:1), само че минути по-късно се разруши на паркинг зад стадиона. Повече от 24 часа от „ Лестър” не разпространиха публична информация кой е бил на борда и има ли оживели. Полицията в града също отхвърли коментар.
В последна сметка в среднощ британско време от клуба оповестиха, че Шривадханапрабха е бил един от петимата души на борда. Оцелели няма.

„ С голямо страдание и разрушени сърца удостоверяваме, че нашият президент Вичай Шривадханапрабха е измежду тези, които починаха трагично в събота вечерта. Неговият хеликоптер, който го превозваше с още четирима души, се разруши отвън „ Кинг пауър стейдиъм”. Няма нито един оцелял”, се показва в формалното известие.
Останалите жертви са двама души от екипа на Шривадханапрабха - Нурсара Сукнамай и Кавепорн Пунпаре, както и водачите Ерик Суофър и Изабела Роса Лечович.
Бизнесменът е притежател на „ Лестър” от 2010 година, когато купи клуба за 39 милиона паунда. Според „ Форбс” Шривадханапрабха е петият най-богат човек в родината си. Личното му положение се прави оценка на 4,9 милиарда $.
Заради трагичния случай идният мач на „ Лестър” със „ Саутхемптън” в шампионата за Купата на лигата е анулиран. Двубоите на състава до 23 години също ще бъдат пренасрочени. Все още не е ясно какво ще се случи със собствеността на " лисиците ".
