Without a decision of the National Assembly, the state authorities will not be able to carry out certain actions on the territory of " Mini Maritsa-East ", the members of the National Assembly decided. With 196 votes " for " and 11 " against ", a decision was adopted, which regulates the activities that will be able to be carried out by the state bodies and only after a decision of the parliament. Without a decision of the parliament, the state authorities will not be able to carry out disposition transactions with real estate owned by " Mini Maritsa-East " EAD, as well as with real estate of state or municipal area, falling within the scope of the concession area by virtue of the concession agreement concluded between the Council of Ministers and the company, the document states. The people`s representatives voted that this should refer to disposition transactions with fixed assets, and also to the establishment of real rights on real estate owned by " Mini Maritsa-East ", used and/or intended for coal mining, as well as the conclusion of transactions/contracts and the issuing of decisions for the construction of facilities for the production of electricity from renewable sources by private investors in properties from the complex. An exception will be made for the leasing of agricultural land for agricultural needs located on the territory of the " Mini Maritsa-East " complex. A similar view was shared some time ago by the trade unions, who expressed concern about what will happen to the lands of " Mini Maritsa-East " after the closure of coal mining. The proposal submitted to the National Assembly is of " Vazrazhdane " and received support from the deputies of the energy committee.
