As expected: WCC-DB took and immediately returned to the President the second mandate to form a government
„ We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria “ (WCC-DB) will not use their right to 7 days to attempt to form a new regular government . Just a few minutes ago, the coalition received the second exploratory mandate from the Head of State.
As they had announced last week, they immediately returned it to President Rumen Radev .
It was the WCC-DB’s Prime Minister-designate who accepted and returned the folder . That was Nikolay Denkov .
He was adamant beforehand that the coalition would not change their approach and would adhere to their priorities , which are creating a favorable environment for investors and increasing the incomes of Bulgarian citizens. All these issues concern the people, Denkov stressed, and that is why they will be at the centre of their actions.
„ What we expect is to get stronger public support so that we can raise these issues again, “, he added.
Denkov was adamant that the fight against corruption is not an end in itself . On the contrary, it is the primary means to achieve success in the priorities he outlined for the country and for Bulgarian citizens.
