Dimitar Ganev: The series of assassinations are a bad message to our international partners

This is what political scientist Dimitar Ganev from the Trend Research Center told. He refers to the murder of Kuro, the death of Angel Hristov and the assassination of former prosecutor general Ivan Geshev .
„ This is a heavy blow against our country’s image, and it could put in doubt the government’s priorities, one of which is Schengen accession. “
In his opinion, it is very likely that the murder of Alexey Petrov will be used as an occasion by the ruling majority to raise again the issue of personnel changes at the top of the services.
In his words, the recent events cannot create a shake-up in the government, as such is much more likely around the local elections in the autumn, when even a fall of the cabinet is not ruled out.
