Proposal: The sale of Lukoil should go through parliamentary approval
The sale of Lukoil Neftohim should go through parliamentary approval . This was proposed by a draft decision already submitted by the leaders of GERB, „ We Continue the Change “ and „ Democratic Bulgaria “ – Boyko Borissov, Kiril Petkov and Hristo Ivanov, and MRF Chairman Delyan Peevski.
In their reasoning, they referred to the sale or transfer of units or shares in the capital of a commercial company operating sites of critical infrastructure related to oil production.
This can only happen with the support of 2/3 of the majority in the National Assembly /NS/, that is – 160 MPs.
According to Borissov, Petkov, Ivanov and Peevski, this will guarantee national security and provide full transparency for the capital of prospective buyers.
