Solid Increase in Prices Across European Electricity Exchanges for Monday, 2 February
The Romanian power exchange OPCOM closed the Day-Ahead Market segment at EUR 153.79/MWh for baseload electricity, according to the exchange’s data for 2 February 2026. The peak price will reach EUR 178.35/MWh, while the off-peak price will stand at EUR 129.24/MWh. The highest price of EUR 339.23/MWh will occur during hour 17, while the lowest price of EUR 89.15/MWh will be recorded during hour 1. Traded baseload volumes will amount to 56,997.1 MWh.
On the Greek energy exchange HENEX, the average baseload price for 2 February will be EUR 121.82/MWh, with traded volumes reaching 429,129 MWh. The maximum price will be EUR 228.17/MWh at 19:00, while the minimum price of EUR 91.73/MWh will occur at 04:00.
At the Hungarian power exchange HUPX, the baseload price for 2 February stands at EUR 157.56/MWh. The highest price of EUR 357.55/MWh will occur during hour 16, while the lowest price of EUR 95.31/MWh will be recorded during hour 1. Traded baseload volumes will reach 113,767.3 MWh.
The baseload electricity price on the Slovak power exchange for 2 February is EUR 134.51/MWh. The highest price of EUR 212.61/MWh will occur during hour 17, while the lowest price of EUR 88.21/MWh will occur during hour 21.
On the Czech power exchange, the baseload electricity price stands at EUR 130.53/MWh. The highest price of EUR 163.63/MWh will be recorded at 09:00, while the lowest price of EUR 97.11/MWh will occur at 03:00.
On the Austrian power exchange, the baseload price for 2 February is EUR 136.20/MWh, with the peak price reaching EUR 151.34/MWh. Traded baseload volumes amount to 73,384.0 MWh. The highest price is expected at 09:00, reaching EUR 160.91/MWh, while the lowest price of EUR 98.14/MWh will occur at 02:00.
On the German power exchange, the baseload price for 2 February is EUR 107.74/MWh, with a peak price of EUR 115.78/MWh. Traded baseload volumes amount to 870,096.9 MWh. The highest price will occur at 10:00, reaching EUR 140.16/MWh, while the lowest price of EUR 91.00/MWh will be recorded at 04:00.
