Residents of Harmanli have announced their intention to organize a protest against the presence of a refugee center in their town. They express their serious dissatisfaction with the behavior of some of the migrants .
“Local political leaders took it over from both inside and outside ” , said Nikolay Georgiev , a former member of the civic initiative committee in Harmanli, underscoring the politicization of the issue and the need to find a socially acceptable solution .
