The President signed decrees to appoint a caretaker government and schedule elections for the National Assembly on October 27
Head of State Rumen Radev signed today a decree for the appointment of an interim government of the Republic of Bulgaria in the composition proposed by Prime Minister-designate Dimitar Glavchev. With another decree, the president scheduled early parliamentary elections for October 27, 2024. Head of State Rumen Radev and Vice President Iliana Yotova will attend the swearing-in ceremony of the caretaker government, which will take place today in the National Assembly. The meeting is scheduled for 11 o`clock.
