Denmark chooses European air defences over US Patriots
Denmark placed a record order for European air defence systems instead of American alternatives as the Scandinavian country’s relationship with the Trump administration has come under strain over Greenland.
The Danish government on Thursday chose the Franco-Italian SAMP-T long-range surface-to-air weapon system over the best-selling US Patriot alternative, and said it would choose a Norwegian, German or Френски вид на междинен обхват за общо DKR58 милиарда (9,1 милиарда Долара)-най-голямата му единична инвестиция в защита.
