" Automagistrali " EAD will have a new Board of Directors until the tender is held. By order of the retired Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Andrey Tsekov, four members of the company`s 5-member Board of Directors were replaced. At the moment, the procedure for their entry in the Commercial Register is underway. The rollover is imposed after receiving a report from ADFI on an inspection carried out for compliance with the PLO. The report found massive violations of the Public Procurement Act and systematically unexercised control of legality in the awarding of construction, supplies and services by the company. This was announced today by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works. After receiving the document, the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Andrey Tsekov, in his capacity as the principal of the company, took immediate measures to end the established vicious practices and optimize the operational management of the company. The current executive director Ivan Stanchev remains part of the Board of Directors of Avtomagistrali EAD. The company`s Board of Directors includes Ivelina Marinova, Stanislava Varadinova, Stefan Atanasov and Daniel Mihalev. The Interim Board of Directors will serve until a competition is held. The competition for permanent members of the Board of Directors of " Automagistrali " EAD will be announced immediately after the registration of the temporary one in the TRRULNC at the Registration Agency. The change of the management team of " Automagistrali " EAD aims to speed up activities and find adequate solutions related to the company`s activities in terms of road maintenance, current repair and maintenance and new construction of sections of the republican road and highway network. The former executive director Ivan Stanchev is one of the members of the company`s board of directors. Ivelina Marinova graduated in " Technology and Transport Management " at the " Todor Kableshkov " Higher School of Transport, has a master`s degree in " Economics and Finance " from the Sofia University " St. Kliment Ohridski ". She worked in the banking sector, has experience in road construction. Stanislava Varadinova is a lawyer. She worked as a legal consultant in private companies, was a chief expert in the Department of the Administrative Capacity Operational Program at the Ministry of Finance, a senior expert in the Monitoring and Verification Department of the Good Governance Directorate at the Administration of the Council of Ministers, senior expert at the State Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation, senior expert at the " Project Implementation " Department of the General Directorate " European Funds for Competitiveness " at the Ministry of Innovation and Growth. Stefan Atanasov holds a Master of Laws from the Sofia University " St. Kliment Ohridski ". He is a qualified lawyer, enrolled in the Sofia Bar Association. Daniel Mihalev graduated from the Sofia University " St. Kliment Ohridski ". His professional path has passed through two law firms, an auditing company, the Sofia District Court and a notary office.
