Настъпи това време от годината, в което е време за равносметка и оценки. По-малко от месец преди огромното събитие, Джоф Кийли разкри номинираните за The Game Awards 2025. Конкретно за игра на годината прави усещане нещо много любопитно.

Само две от игрите са ААА заглавия. А имаме и игра за Nintendo Switch. Но има и несъгласие. Липсата на игра, която впечатли с продажбите си и отзивите на медия и геймъри.

Номинираните за игра на годината тук са Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Donkey Kong Bananza, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Hollow Knight: Silksong и Hades 2. И още нещо. С изключение на Donkey Kong Bananza, всички тези игри са сингълплейър прекарвания.

Кой е изчезналият? Разбира се, че това е Ghost of Yotei на Sucker Punch. Особено, имайки поради това, че играта получава цели седем номинации тук. Колкото има и Death Stranding 2 на Kojima Productions. Очаквано, Clair Obscur е с цели 10 номинации. От друга страна, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 е едвам с три номинации. Разочарованието като че ли, най-малко съгласно тазгодишното издание на TGA е Assasins’ Creed Shadows, които са номинирани единствено в категорията за досегаемост.
