Crowds enjoyed the sunshine and flocked to beaches on Friday on what was the hottest day of the year so far.
Temperatures reached 29 degrees Celsius in several of Met Éireann's weather stations, including Finner in Co Donegal and Mount Dillon, Co ROSCOMMON.
