Sameday will invest another 6.5 million euros in parcel lockers
Courier company Sameday plans to invest EUR 6.5 million in Bulgaria in 2024 for the installation of new easybox lockers. The company owns the largest network of contactless parcel lockers in the country. It has been officially operating in Bulgaria since 2022.
According to a recent survey commissioned by Sameday, consumer attitudes in Bulgaria show that more and more customers are choosing to receive their parcels from a machine.
The interest in contactless receiving of shipments is a testament to the changing needs of end customers. In the coming months, we will continue to upgrade the traditional delivery, " says Radoslav Krumov, executive director of Sameday Bulgaria.

In addition to traditional services, it expands its scope of activity through its network of 5,000 easyboxes in the three countries where it operates. Specifically in Bulgaria, there are 437 automated parcel lockers. In the past year, the company has invested over EUR 3.2 million in that country, and the plans are for these investments to increase nearly 3 times in 2024 and exceed EUR 8.55 million.
Specific investments in new easybox locations in Bulgaria will amount to EUR 6.5 million this year, Sameday told Economic.bg.
