Austria lifts its veto on the full Schengen accession of Romania and Bulgaria
Austria has withdrawn its veto on the full membership of Bulgaria and Romania in the Schengen area. This was announced this evening, December 9, by the Austrian Ministry of Interior. The decision will also give the green light to EU Mnisters of Interior at their meeting on Thursday.
