Woman (40s) hospitalised after being struck by car in Co Wexford
A woman, aged in her 40s, was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford on Saturday.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to reports of the collision, which occurred on the R702 at Curraghgraigue, Enniscorthy, at approximately 3pm.
The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 40s, was taken to Wexford General Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The male driver of the car, aged in his 20s, received medical assessment at the scene.
No other injuries were reported,
The road is currently closed for technical examination by Garda forensic collision investigators, with local diversions in Място.
