The children’s football initiative “Hristo Stoichkov: the road to the stars” starts in Pleven

The children’s football initiative “Hristo Stoichkov: The Road to the Stars ” will start in Pleven on 22 May at 15:00. The event, organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the winning of the Golden Ball by the legend Hristo Stoichkov , will take place at the Renaissance Square in the city center. The square will turn into a football arena combining games , music and children’s smiles .

With the assistance of the Municipality of Pleven , an official invitation was sent to all schools. The tournament will include children from first and second grade. The teams will consist of three field players without a goalkeeper , which will increase contact with the ball and make the game more attractive.

The president of Bulgarian Football Tournaments Dimitar Nikolov commented to Iskra.bg on the upcoming event. He said that the organization has been working together with Hristo Stoichkov for many years and that amateur football is developing with the support of the football legend .

“Together we develop amateur football thanks to his support. Tomorrow is the children’s initiative to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Hristo Stoichkov winning the Golden Ball. These are children’s football tournaments in a number of Bulgarian cities, which are under the patronage of football legend Stoichkov ”, Nikolov explained. He added that the event would be attractive :

“The idea is that children will have more contact with the ball and there will be more attractiveness to be able to get them into the football game. ”

More such events are expected to be held in the country, and we have had inquiries from Vratsa , Troyan , Montana , Lovech and other cities. Nikolov also stressed the importance of holding this kind of tournament in the central squares of different cities:

“The attractiveness of the event is to do it on the squares in the center of the cities so that parents and children can gather. We have a desire and a lot of interest to promote this and do it in other cities of the country, but we are waiting for an invitation from the Municipalities. In order to do it in other cities we need support, besides the work we also need funds. The idea is to do it jointly with the municipalities and have them support this initiative. ”

The organizers of the football event are “Bulgarian Football Tournaments ” together with “Power to Wind ” and “Power to X ” , which are general partners of the initiative. BFT President Dimitar Nikolov has held a working meeting with the founders of the companies “Power to X ” and “Power to Wind ” Eng. Stefan Gotchev and Petar Genov, where the preparation and implementation of the children’s football events was discussed.

“Bulgarian Football Tournaments ” also has the support of the “Hall of Fame-Hristo Stoichkov ”, which collects the most valuable trophies of the football legend, as well as the H8S brand, which also contributes to the realization of the sports events.
