One day Cassandra decided to be my friend. It was a good decision, she’s propably the biggest fan of hugs out of all our sheep. She got her name from one of my followers here on Instagram. Turns out its a perfect name for her.

2018 has been a very good year for me. One of the best. Ive spent a lot of time at the farm, lambing was a bit difficult because of the weather but we made it through, summer never arrived in Iceland yet it was one of my favourite summers. Travelled to Stockholm, Paris, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia with some of my awesome friends. Went to the highlands a lot last summer with friends and family. Continued with my mastersdegree, almost done now. Made new friends both human and sheep. Fell in love and got to work with my favourite company - Just to name a few good things, to make the year even better - nothing terrible happened. Thank you all for following along, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy sharing our life in rural Iceland with you all. I hope 2019 will be good for us all, happy new year dear friends

One of my favourite things to do when I have a day off is to take a road trip. When you live in Iceland, it doesnt matter where you go, you always end up somewhere beautiful. Last week I went to Borgarfjörður, of course the road trip included a dip in water from a hot spring. This place @krauma_baths was very nice, the water comes from Deildartunguhver (try saying that!).
